American Jews for a Just Peace (www.ajjp.org) is initiating an emergency campaign to send an Open Letter to Israeli Soldiers from the international Jewish Community. Our goal is to obtain hundreds of signatures from Jews around the world, and raise enough money to publish the letter in Israeli newspapers.

At a press conference held Wednesday in Jerusalem, a coalition of nine mainstream Israeli human rights groups presented a dramatic call to the Government of Israel to act immediately to end further violations of the Law of War in Gaza and relieve the humanitarian crisis in the territory. Ongoing violations were detailed and clear operational demands specified.

Politicians from all four parties on Birmingham City Council have called on the Council leadership to pursue a policy of instituting sanctions against Israel.

הקמנו את הקבוצה הזו פעילות ופעילים מספיר ומבן גוריון, אבל הרעיון הוא לא להקים קבוצה חדשה. יש כבר הרבה קבוצות שפעילות בדרום, ואנחנו רוצים לעבוד ביחד - לשתף, לתמוך, לתת כתף ולבקש עזרה. כל מי שפעיל בדרום - ספרו מה קורה.
