The 4 Peace Now activists arrested earlier today were released shortly after being detained by Israeli police. The 4 took part in a "sit down" on the main road from Jerusalem to Hebron. Two busloads of Peace Now activists took part in today's event, which was in protest of the settlements, specifically the new ones, and the fact that the army placed 200,000 Palestinians under curfew to allow a handful of settlers to have parties in Hebron. Peace Now called the settlements a "stain" on the State of Israel.
