As if the Palestinians aren't suffering enough already? The more the Palestinians are made to suffer, the more they will resist, and with more violence. Violence on both sides turns the moderates on the other side into extremists. I'm a Jew. I was struck by this passage from the weekly Parsha: "The more they [the Jews] were oppressed, the more they increased and spread out, so that the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites."."
