The absurdity of the contributors claim is so obvious you would wonder what was his purpose. Whose side is he really on? Is he trying to discredit legitimate reports from the war zone?
The ridiculousness of this claim is equivalent to some of the falsehoods Israeli apologists hold near and dear and repeat like mantras, including:
Falsehood 1. Israel was empty when they Jews began arriving in the 1880's.
Falsehood 2. Most of the Palestinians who live there came as immigrants after the Jews began to build the land and the economy.
Faleshood 3. Palestine was a desolate wasteland before the Jews came. The Jews are responsible for all agricultural improvements.
Falsehood 4. There has been a deadly conflict between Jews and Muslims for over a thousand years.
Falsehood 5. Palestinians abandoned their homes willingly in 1948 to allow the Arab armies to smash the Jews.
Falsehood 6. Israelis have been forced to fight for their survival in every war they in which they were involved, including 1956, 1967 and 1973.
Falsehood 7. The so-called Generous-Offer" Barak was willing to give Palestinians 95 percent of the West Bank and Gaza.
Falsehood 8. Yassir Arafat started the Intifada.
Falsehood 9. Palestinians should not be allowed to have a state because they will only use it as a means to drive Israelis into the sea.
These are the real problem falsehoods, not the sick, silly one above. These are the ones that need to be fought and discredited. They are examples of how lies, when broadcasted frequently, can poison any meaningful dialogue.

Bíonn an fhírrine searbh. (The truth can be bitter.)
Ní feider an fhírrine a cheilt. (It is not possible to hide the truth.)
Tiocfaidh an fhírrine ina h-áit fein. (The truth will prevail. Literally, the truth will come into its own place.)
