"But to be rejected ONLY because he was Israeli is discrimination and therefore a problem." Keep repeating that and someday you really believe this is what happened. I'll try to explain again: He was NOT rejected because he was Israeli, he was rejected because of his membership of a terrorist organisation, the Israeli Army. And he doesn't even seem to regret it. Someone as stupid as that wanting to be an academic is applaudable, but unrealistic. Fight terrorism, boycott Israel.
