It would seem to me that the Zionist agenda was to move Jews into Palestine from early on in the last century. The process was speeded up by the desire of surviving European Jews after WW2 to flee to Palestine which led to the declaration of the Jewish state of Israel. However the indigineous population naturally felt, and were threatened, and resisted this intrusion. A European analogy would be if hundreds of thousands of Arabs came to say Scandinavia and began to populate an area with the intention of displacing the indigenous population. I fully accept Israel's right to exist with security. I also accept the Palestinian's right to exist securely. They are the most badly led people on earth and a military disaster. Why should a few hundred thousand settlers dictate state policy and cause such suffering for both Palestinian and Israeli's alike? You have the technology and power to provide a secure state with the recognised borders of Israel. Why not do it and let justice prevail for the Palestinian people in what remains of historical Palestine?
