The pictures show precisely that the protestor was in a dead spot of the bulldozer driver. Her picture shows that she was hit from something with jags - a flying rock (possibly iron rod for the bulldozer was acting in an area with numerous ruins) and not from the bulldozer's shovel. She obviously wasn't ran over as the activists claimed because in that case she would have been completely crushed and not have only a head injury. When dozens of tons pass over you you die right away. It's impossible that the bulldozer ran over her and came back to ascertaining death.
Maybe that activists wanted to have political fortunes by getting hit by a bulldozer (she had nothing to look fore in a fire zone during a military operation), she only thought it will end up in an injury and not death. No doubt the driver didn't mean to run over her and it was a mistake.
The accident happened because D9 bollduzer is made for massive and rough construction works and therefore it has limited visibility. It is not designed to have people running around its wheels, especially in the dead spots.
