Apparently, Rachel Corrie must die twice: Once under a bulldozer, and once again, based on comments I've seen about this article so far, at the hands of right-wing apologists who shed tears for the tender feelings of armed professionals while despoiling the memory of Corrie's courage. Rachel Corrie died in protection of humanity. As US forces will, almost undoubtedly, within a few hours commit to a program of mechanized slaughter, it is imperative to our future to recognize what true courage is. She showed it.
