1-Dozens suffer from teargas inhalation

Organized by the popular committee against the wall, in Bil'in, a massive
march against the construction of the apartheid wall, occupation and
settlements began after Friday prayers from the center of the village.

Participants from the Bil'in day summer camp attended the march along with a
delegation of the Palestinian People's Party and dozens of international and
Israeli activists.

As they marched through the streets they chanted slogans calling for the end
to the policy of occupation in and around Jerusalem, the end to demolition
and displacement of the people and condemned the criminal acts against
Palestinian communities.

After the marchers had approached the wall and were confronted by soldiers,
the Israeli army fired sound grenades and multiple types of teargas
canisters at the participants, some of which induced vomiting.

Thank you so much for your support for Ahmad Burnat, who was released from
jail this weekend.
Together we were able to raise the bail money, and Ahmad is now safe home
with his family in Bil'in.
We were able to raise even more money than needed for Ahmad's release, and
we will use what is left for the same purpose in the future.

We are very thankful for the support given in this urgent situation, and
together we will continue the struggle against the occupation 

 and violation of human rights.
