אמנסטי אינטרנשיונל מגנה בחריפות את הריסות בתי שכונת ס"ח שבלוד. היום (יום שני), בשעה 9:00 בבוקר הגיעו פקחי מנהל מקרקעי ישראל מלווים בעשרות שוטרי מג"ב לשכונה, במשך חמש שעות הם הרסו חלק ניכר מן השכונה והותירו למעלה מ-80 אנשים, 51 מהם ילדים מחוסרי בית.

היום בשעה 18 מחוץ לאונ' בן גוריון התאספנו כ20 פעילות ופעילים בהתארגנות מהירה לאחר ההריסה של כפר אל עראקיב בשנית.

הכנו והחזקנו שלטים הקוראים להפסקת הריסת הכפרים הלא מוכרים, במקום עבור מעט א/נשים רגלית אולם התנועה הרכבית היתה ערה.

Police Destroy Unrecognized Village in Negev

Early this morning police raided the unrecognized Bedouin village of al-Arakib in the Negev, destroyed all 40 of its houses, and evicted more than 300 residents. The residents, mostly children, were left homeless (Press release).

At the residents' call, dozens of left-wing activists and volunteers arrived from all over the country, helping them by offering non-violent resistance.

Early yesterday morning the Israeli army demolished 23 homes in Al Farisiya in the
Jordan Valley making 91 more Palestinians homeless. They also destroyed the shelters
for over 1000 sheep that members of this bedouin community owned, and have
'confiscated' the sheep and demanded payment from the farmers for their food!

This is not an isolated incident, but part of the brutal repression of Palestinian
communities in the Jordan Valley that has escalated over the last few months. Just
yesterday demolition orders were issued against farmers in Bardala village. There

State authorities continue to persecute the el-Okbi Tribe and destroy their homes.

This time the victim of the evil policy is a young man of the el-Okbi Tribe , Bassam Hussein el-Okbi, about to be married, but the government wants to destroy his joy. The el-Okbi Tribe pledged that Bassam will have his happiness and all will rejoyce with him and make sure the wedding will take place as planned and that on that day the destroyed house will be rebuilt.
